- Wear gloves. Work outdoors or in strong ventilation. If you brush, only sweep loose surface powder — do not scrub as if the stain will vanish. Do not brush spores into the packing line.
- Use one wipe per pair (or per growth patch on suede — see suede mold guide).
- Wipe all visible spots, including lining and insole edges.
- Air-dry 6–12 hours. Do not seal a damp pair.
- Discard the old box and tissue if they smell musty.
- Insert an A505 anti mold chip or C304 anti mold bag plus fresh desiccant.
- Seal and store below 65% RH where possible.

Can a soft brush wipe mold spots off?
